Big skies and beaches of North Norfolk
The combination of beach, sea and sky seem to captivate our spirit making us return again and again to our favourite place in all seasons and ever changing weather, working a magical hold on our senses, enticing us to go down to the sea again to create happy and enduring memories of endless days on glorious beaches.
I am a self-taught artist, and have painted big skies and beaches for fifteen years, working with mainly oil on canvas or board, I aim to portray a little romanticism in my images as well as the feeling of open elements freedom and space using the wonderful light and ever changing conditions identifiable with North Norfolk.
Although occasionally working with different mediums and subject matter I have found greatest success with my coastal work which is now owned worldwide.

COMMISSIONS feature as a large part of my work and mostly I am asked to personalise them with figures of the family and dogs!
It may be a special birthday or anniversary present, or perhaps a specific size canvas for a feature wall. Or, more and more popular, a wedding present.... the couple featured on their favourite beach. (Many proposals have happened on Norfolk beaches)!
All I need is an idea of the composition, size and details of the figures to feature in the painting.
